Reliance Industries reported a 2% decrease in its consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 18,951 crore for the quarter ending in March 2024. This is down from Rs 19,299 crore in the same quarter last year. ET NOW had predicted a net profit of Rs 18,227 crore.
Revenue from operations increased by 11% year-on-year, reaching Rs 2.4 lakh crore in the reporting period, up from Rs 2.16 lakh crore in the same quarter the previous year.
The company’s operating profit (EBITDA) grew by 14% year-on-year to Rs 47,150 crore in the March quarter, with margins increasing by 50 basis points to 17.8%.
